Sam’s style, summer date night

It’s Sam’s birthday this weekend — our birthdays are just a week apart, so yes, two Leos in one marriage! — so I thought it appropriate to feature his style again. Happy birthday to my sweetie!

He wore this outfit last weekend on a date night for my birthday, and I took these photos along the Puget Sound when it was nearing dusk.

It’s a confident man who can wear pastels, and this lavender button-front looks great on him! This shirt — which has a subtle black geometric print up close — is a recent buy when we recently went shopping for Sam to replace a few items. (He cleaned out his closet recently, which I helped with. Meaning, I sat on the bed while Sam did all the work going back and forth from the closet, and then I gave my opinion about items he ear-marked for possible donations. Sam also trusts my opinion when we go shopping for him.)

And OF COURSE I loved Sam’s color-coordination going on in this outfit, with the grey hat and cords, and how the cognac belt and sneakers coordinate nicely with the brown band on his hat and his brown wood watch. He’s got such good style, doesn’t he?!

Looking sharp, Sam. Great lavender shirt. Happy Birthday to both of you. Two Leos in one house, not sure how you do it, one is enough for our household! 🙂
