It’s time again for another Style Imitating Art (SIA) challenge, this time curated by Erin @ Loop Looks.
SIA inspiration pick:
Erin chose another lovely piece by a growARTS artist. GrowARTS is a program at Garden Center Services, an organization that provides services and job training for adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. The goal of growARTS is to have the adults they serve create art that they then sell. The program and the artist split the money.
And if you’d like to learn more about growARTS and how important a cause it is, watch this video: https://www.facebook.com/growARTSgcs/videos/1336387089779126/
It’s a beautiful painting of a flowering tree, with all of Erin’s favorite colors: purple, black, gray, and white. Erin also thought this one was perfect for the first day of May, as the old saying goes, “April showers bring May flowers.”
How to participate in SIA:
Everyone — bloggers, non-bloggers, all genders, all ages, even pets! — is welcome to participate. Just send a pic of an outfit — selfies and flat lays are also just fine — inspired by this week’s SIA artwork to this week’s curator, Erin, at firstname.lastname@example.org. Erin will post the SIA round-up on her blog, Loop Looks, on Wednesday, May 10th, so get those photos in to her before then.
Can’t wait to see what y’all come up with for SIA!
