Favorite fall outfits I would (and do) wear again

I usually have a week or two weeks’ worth of posts scheduled on this blog, to allow myself a little wiggle room, scheduling-wise, so I’ve had a couple of days to collect myself a bit in the aftermath of events this week. And I’ve been struggling with how, or even if, to address it on this style blog. Then I read today how my beloved Tom & Lorenzo handled the issue, so I am quoting from them:

[T]o ignore these [political, social, and emotional] responses is to pretend they’re not happening, but to spend too much time on these responses would change the tenor of this site tremendously.

But our promise to you all remains the same as it ever was: This site will continue to be a place where you can escape from your day for 5 minutes at a time and indulge in pure frivolity. We only ask in response that you respond without ugliness and hate. There are places to go all over the internet where you can scream your rage and argue with your political opposites, but this will never be one of them.

This is my own little corner of happiness on the interwebs, and I aim to keep it that way. So.

I’ve been seeing this kind of post making the rounds on the style blog-o-sphere, and I thought it was a great idea, to reflect on favorite fall outfits you would wear again. I think it’s both a fun retrospective and a way to highlight remixing past favorites. And just yesterday, I highlighted an outfit that remixed favorite pieces from two prior fall outfits, so it felt like perfect timing to highlight some additional favorite fall outfits!

Plus, it’s a way to highlight the fact that I recently completed making all my outfits, from 2012 through 2016, more browsable in my Gallery section. I created new monthly outfit collages for the entirety of 2012 and 2013, and I also added direct links to each outfit below each monthly collage, from 2012 through 2016. Here’s a screenshot below of what I’m describing:

Since browsing my own outfit gallery archives is a lot easier now, I took the opportunity to go back through my fall outfits from 2012 through 2015 in order to narrow down favorite fall outfits that I would — and do! — wear again.

It’s interesting to note that I’ve remixed a few pieces even in the few fall favorites I’ve identified here, including my leopard pencil skirt, flat-heeled cognac boots, light blue cardigan, and my plaid swing coat. And I still have all of those pieces!
