I picked up this fox-print scarf back at the beginning of summer, as documented in my monthly budget adventures post for June, and as the scarf colors are so autumnal, I was waiting until fall arrived to bring it out. And why not double the foxes, by pairing this fox-print scarf with my “Ferdy the Fox” sweater?
This was a very comfortable casual weekend look for me, with cords, sneakers, sweater, and lightweight scarf. Sam and I enjoyed a walk through Old Town Tacoma and the Job Carr Cabin Museum. Job Carr was a founding father of Tacoma, arriving in the region in November 1864 and building a cabin near the site where the replicable cabin stands today. The small museum is quite sweet, and the histories of Job Carr and his family members — especially his very independent wife! — are fascinating.
