I love the versatility of shirtdresses, and I have added a few different ones to my wardrobe over the last few years, including retro-inspired ones and others in purple, black denim, chambray, striped cotton, and plaid.
Going through my archives, I’ve noted at least 6 different ways to wear shirtdresses:
1. Accessorize with a bright belt or scarf
2. Pair a classic shirtdress with modern booties

3. Cinch your waist with a wide belt
4. Pair a retro-inspired shirtdress with retro-inspired shoes

5. Layer a cargo vest over the shirtdress

6. Layer over a turtleneck
Obviously, this last tip won’t be that useful for me again until fall, but I just wanted to add it here to round out different ways to wear shirtdresses. Plus, this last tip might be useful for some of my international readers in the southern hemisphere!
