Tex | Conference casual

The reason behind this post title, “Tex,” is immediately apparent:

Librarian for Life + Style | Tex

I wore this outfit for a day of traveling to a state library conference in Bend, Oregon, a day that ended with an association get-together at a local bar and restaurant. So OF COURSE I had to something library-themed. If you’re a longtime reader, then you’ll know I have more than one library-themed item of clothing; for today, that turned out to be my library due date-stamped tee.

So how did this backdrop come about? Before setting off for the conference, I was dropping off Sam, and I spied this shady spot marked “Tex.” Thank goodness we take most of our photos now with my camera phone, so we can take advantage of these unexpected opportunities! And it’s so perfect since I grew up in Texas! (I know you’re smiling now, Mom! 😀 )

This is so cool, Jen! From a visual perspective, between you, the word “Tex” painted behind you and the dolly, juxtapose nicely and it makes for a great photo! And the rust colored background makes your blue cardigan all the more colorful!

And most appropriate title for this post. 🙂
