I wore this navy + yellow work casual look on a teaching day, so I would be comfortable. These navy ankle pants are so comfortable — just as comfy as jeans but more professional-looking. Win-win!

I wasn’t actually planning on taking pics of this outfit — I’ve remixed these colors a lot, as I detail below — but Sam really liked this navy + yellow variation, so he took photos on the fly for me. He said my outfit looked like a ’60s retro update, with my head scarf and ankle pants that reminded him of “pedal pushers.”

And yes, the hair experimentation continues with my new shorter ‘do! This time, I wrapped my clock-print scarf twice around my hair and let the ends hang down the back.
