Casual cat tee + grey jeans

Last week was spring break, so I thought a casual outfit would be appropriate to highlight on the blog! I didn’t actually put this outfit together with the idea of taking pics, but as we were running errands, we decided to take the opportunity to snap some photos — since the sun was out, and that’s a rarity these days! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I like to wear my cat tee (from the 2012 Jason Wu for Target boutique collection) with red, because of the red bow around the cat graphic, and this time was no exception. This cotton jacket was the perfect layer for this sunshine-y day that still had a bit of chill in the air.

We took pics byย Martin Luther King Jr. School in Northeast Portland, which began asย the Highland School, erected in 1926. The school is now a Mandarin Immersion School, from kindergarten through 8th grade!

Mandarin Immersion School! Wow. What an amazing opportunity for the students there.

Do you guys carry your camera with you everywhere or do you snap spur-of-the-moment photos with your phones?

I bought those shoes earlier this year and haven’t worn them yet! I wasn’t sure what to do with them, so it’s fun to see them pop up here for possibilities.
