Holiday gift guide for the librarian(s) in your life

Last year, I shared my “Gift Ideas for the Librarian(s) in Your Life” Pinterest board, and I’ve added new things to that list for this year! For a special holiday treat, I’ve highlighted a few of those items below in a librarian-themed gift guide below:

Gift Guide for Librarians

Best of all, every item on my “Gift Ideas for the Librarian(s) in Your Life” Pinterest board is under $50!

  1. Literary Cufflinks, $24 — Handmade cufflinks made from discarded books
  2. Paddywax “Library Collection” candle, $19.99 — 6.5 oz jar candle from the “Library Collection.” Scents include Edgar Allan Poe, Emily Dickinson, John Steinbeck, Oscar Wilde, Jane Austen, and more.
  3. “Geek Glasses” coffee mug set, on sale for $39 — Personalizable for the librarian(s) in your life!
  4. Library card tote bag, $19.99 (currently on sale for $13.99!) — A large tote bag for all a librarian’s needs!
  5. Personal library kit, $14.99 (currently on sale for $9.99!) — I was gifted this same personal library kit a few years ago, and it’s a perennial favorite!
  6. Library card socks, $10 — My personal Facebook page is filled with friends who have shared this item on my timeline!
  7. “Support Your Local Library” Mini iPad pouch, $32 — Show your library support on your (iPad) sleeve!
  8. Kate Spade hardcover journal, $24 — Blank journal with the phrase “You can never be overdressed or overeducated” stamped on the cover. For your favorite fashionable librarian (hint, hint)!
  9. Banned books pouch, $12 — I was also gifted this “banned books” pouch for my birthday, which I use as a fun clutch, as seen here.

Any favorites on the list? Be sure to check out more fun librarian-themed holiday gift ideas on my “Gift Ideas for the Librarian(s) in Your Life” Pinterest board!

Another gift could be to donate in the librarian’s name to EveryLibrary, a non-profit advocacy organization that works on behalf of libraries across the U.S.
