Chevron skirt debut

Last week in my monthly budget post, I mentioned I had three new items from eShakti, including a chevron striped skirt. This is the only one of the three items I have not had to personally tailor to better fit me, so I wore it right away!

It’s a heavier knit fabric, so it’s perfect for cooler temps. I like that the shape of the skirt is classic (full-skirted with a banded waist), but the chevron stripes are modern and eye-catching.

I kept things simple for the first outing with this chevron skirt, pairing it with classic blue and black. I also added my Greg Michaels blue leather tote bag to tie in with my blue button-down. I could have gone with black ankle boots, but I stuck with my basic black ballet flats since I had a heavy teaching day.

And last but not least, y’all know I couldn’t resist twirling in my new chevron skirt, right? 😉
