Funny blogger poses round-up

As I was cleaning up my blog archives this past summer, I came across a series of posts I did about funny blogger poses. Most of these posts are from the first year I started blogging, 2012, and most of the poses were inspired by the How to Be a Fashion Blogger series on the WTF Pinterest site. I still chuckled my way through re-reading the posts and thought you might find the blogger poses (and posts) amusing, too.

So here’s a round-up for y’all to enjoy:

Haha, I’m totally guilty of the “contemplate your shoes” and “hair touching” poses. The pigeon toe is the one blogger pose I don’t get though (yours aren’t as bad). Why would you want to stand like a toddler who has to go to the bathroom?

I try really hard not to do the hand-on-hip one in every photo, but I do find that I cross one leg behind the other quite often or hold onto the lapel of my jacket or blazer. Now that I take a lot of photos with Chewie it gives at least one hand something to do so I feel slightly less awkward!

Ugh! I am SO not photogenic! As a result, I do the standard “hand on the hip” pose almost all the time. I have no idea how to be “natural” in front of the camera. When I try, I look positively dorky.
