Feeling long ‘n’ lean in white + cognac

If you’re a regular reader, then you know I feel my best when I’m feeling “long ‘n’ lean.” Today’s outfit is super-simple, and I felt GREAT in it. Main reason? You got it, I felt long ‘n’ lean in my wide-leg tan trousers and white short-sleeved cardigan.

I wore this outfit on the last weekend of summer to a local JASNA luncheon. I kept things light with cognac cork wedges, dangly pearl earrings, and the vintage straw bag I thrifted this past spring.

This feels like a good transitional kind of outfit, so I will probably be remixing this for work. I could easily make it more work- and fall-appropriate with an animal print scarf, leather tote bag, and my peep-toe tortoiseshell wedges. What do y’all think? Would you like to see me remix this outfit for work?
