Feeling special in my new print dress

I wore my new print dress, gifted to me by my mom for my birthday, on a dinner out to celebrate my birthday (as well as my husband’s birthday and our wedding anniversary, all this month). It was a special occasion, so I wanted to look and feel special.

My husband’s reaction when I came down the stairs? “Wow!” Mission accomplished! 😀

Y’all know I’m not afraid of color! I also kept the accessories bright and fun, with my pink wedges, purple shawl, and vintage book cover purse. I also wore my new bronze-and-bead earrings, which were a birthday gift from my friend Stephanie.

And of course, fit-and-flare dresses are made for twirling! 😀

Thanks so much! I won the vintage book cover purse many years ago at a library conference. The prize was two vintage book cover purses, and I’ve featured the other one in a few posts — I usually use it as a clutch as its handles aren’t as sturdy. You can view the other purse here in this post.

That is unbelievably pretty! What a gorgeous gift. This shape of dress always makes me think of Jane Austen but with a feminine twist. It really is an Amazing print!x
