Navy floral + white cardigan

My final work outfit of the academic year! My last day was one of office-cleaning and celebration-hopping (for employees getting awards and saying good-bye to faculty retiring), so I needed to be both professional and comfortable. But who am I kidding… that is basically my starting point for every work day!

A print dress, short-sleeved cardigan, and comfy canvas flats fit the bill on both fronts. And I got to add some subtle-pattern-mixing. 🙂

Details:  Floral fit-and-flare dress, Lands’ End {exact style in different patterns} {exact style in solid colors} //  Cable knit cardigan, Brooks Brothers, thrifted {similar style with long sleeves}  //  Tan skinny belt, came with another dress {similar}  //  Canvas flats, Grasshoppers via DSW {same style in different patterns}  //  Large pearl earring studs, parting gift from Abu Dhabi {very similar}

And how much do I love these fit-and-flare Lands’ End dresses?! They are ridiculously comfortable and flattering. And I loooooooove the wide waistband detail — perfect with or without a belt! I added this tan skinny belt to tie in the color of my canvas flats.

And by the way, those interesting fence toppers in the background of these photos? Those are replicas of Easter Island idols! 😀 😀 😀 Gotta love Portland!
