Red, white, and blue… and leopard

Considering the painting I chose this week for the next SIA challenge — and looking at pics I’ve already got in the hopper for this week — I realized that I could make this entire week red-, white-, and blue-themed. A super-sized SIA week!

First up, an outfit inspired by Lisa @ Respect the Shoes which I had pinned earlier this year to my “Easy Work Outfits” board. I like Lisa’s combination of a navy blazer, red jeans, and leopard print belt. I realized I had my own version of each of those items, as well! Easy work outfit, indeed, for a heavy teaching day.

This outfit is very similar to an outfit I wore back in 2013, including a remix of this same navy blazer and gingham top — an ensemble also inspired by Lisa @ Respect the Shoes! If it ain’t broke…
