Library conference style in Portland

As I’ve mentioned before, I spent most of my spring break inbetween winter and spring terms attending ACRL, a national library conference in Portland. I’ve posted about packing for conferences before (here and here for starters), but it was the first time I’ve attended a large, multi-day national conference in my own town — and not having to worry about packing professional outfits!

The weather in Portland started out rainy but turned into that lovely combination of sunny with a bit of chill in the air that you get at springtime. So I dressed in layers and focused on comfortable shoes, as I knew I’d do a lot of walking.

And OF COURSE I had to incorporate my card catalog t-shirt! 😀

Tomorrow, I’ll be back with one more outfit I wore while at the conference!

Linking up with these lovely ladies!

Thanks, Meghan! I like that this denim jacket is shaped differently than most denim jackets I have come across — it has seaming that curves in the waist so it’s a much more flattering shape than most denim jackets, which tend to be a bit boxy.
