SIA: Spring

It’s time for another Style Imitating Art (SIA) challenge! This week’s SIA pick is from Jess @ Animated Cardigan, who stuck with the springtime theme for SIA this week. Jess selected a gorgeous stained glass window called Spring, designed by John La Farge and painted by Juliette Henson. It contains the largest single sheet of glass ever installed in a stained glass window, which is the woman’s torso.

The colors are stunning, incredibly deep and striking. The stained glass window is housed at the Philadelphia Museum of Art — which also happens to be the first art museum Jess ever visited!

Per usual, submissions are due next Monday evening. Email Jess at animatedcardigan@gmail.com with your submission. Bloggers and non-bloggers alike are welcome to participate!
