New year outtakes

A new year, a new outtakes post! Enjoy! 😀

My double-jointed awkwardness is well-documented. Pictures like these below are almost the norm with me — it’s amazing that I am able to post pictures that don’t include one flailing limb or another!

My husband LOVES it when he catches an awkward facial expression. I have a very expressive face!

Darn wind blowing hair in my face…

And this one above just cracks me up, because of my huge grin and hand placement. I’m really just laughing at something Sam said and moving my hand down at the same time — but it looks like I’m waving to someone across the way and saying something like, “Oh hi there. Nothing to see here. Don’t mind me. Just taking pics on the sidewalk, no biggie…. ” 😉

You can see the original post here.

Hope you enjoyed the outtakes! If you would like more outtakes and awkwardness, you can see prior outtakes posts here, here, here, and here.

And sometimes when I think I’m in a totally unnatural pose, it looks great in a photo! (One example is in this post at https://librarianforlifestyle.wordpress.com/2013/07/15/lighting-the-way/ and the photo where I’m posing at the viewfinder — I felt so cheesy and awkward in that moment and yet I love the resulting photo!)

And that’s a good point about outtakes posts being good outfit recaps — I had never thought of it that way, thanks! 🙂

These are awesome! I must remember to save some of my outtakes… but the thing about taking your own photos is, you always know when the shutter is going to click and you have to be ready for it, so there is less of a chance you’ll get caught in some awkward pose.

    Hi Jen!
Thank you for leaving a comment on my blog yesterday 🙂 I have to say, I love this post! Your sense of humor and ability to not take things too seriously is evident! And I can definitely appreciate that. I can’t wait to scroll back through some older posts!
