Variations of light blue and black

As I’ve mentioned before, I really like to pair this light blue cardigan — bought ages ago at a Gap in Wisconsin — with black. Here’s yet another variation of this go-to formula:

Today’s outfit might seem just like this pairing from last year. It’s the same silhouette, but if you look closely, the earlier outfit is paired with another black and white top and black pants. And different black shoes.

See? TOTALLY DIFFERENT. 😉

(FYI: Last week, I inventoried my collection of black and white tops. Can’t get enough.)

I recently won a $20 InPink giveaway from the GBO Fashion blog — yay! — and picked out these black teardrop earrings. My husband likes that the shape and texture of these earrings mirror my jet black statement necklace, last seen here.

And BONUS, here is my handsome husband, rocking a new striped jacket and new sunglasses. Look at him pattern-mixing that striped jacket with a dotted button-down. And check out that polka-dotted lining. ♥

Cheers, y’all!
