I can’t believe we’ve reached the end of our Mutually Inspired Series! I have had so.much.fun going through Erin’s archives and interpreting looks — and seeing which of my outfits that Erin chose. And I definitely had more of Erin’s outfits that I could have interpreted — you can see the ones I’ve pinned so far by clicking here.
For Day 5, I chose an outfit of Erin’s from nearly a year ago, featuring an argyle sweater vest. For more argyle love, check out Erin’s first post from our Mutually Inspired Series here.
The basic elements are the same: grey pencil skirt + grey argyle sweater (mine’s a cardigan instead of a sweater vest) + grey heels + button-down shirt. I also chose circular jewelry to echo Erin’s accessories, including circular drop earrings and pearl bracelet.
A good friend and fellow librarian hinted today that she loved this cardigan so much, that I just might find it missing someday. 😉 (And she’s seen my closet in real life. She knows where I keep this argyle beauty. Oh wait, so do y’all. Hmmm… )
Details: Pencil skirt: LOFT, fall / Argyle cardigan: Kohl’s, fall / Mary Jane heels: Kohl’s, old / Tights: Target?, old / Striped button-down: H&M, last winter / Circle earrings: Lia Sophia, gift from hubby, old / Pearl circle bracelet: Gift from hubby, Abu Dhabi, old
And, of course, there is NO WAY I’m looking at those creases in my skirt. Nope, not at all. 😉
Hope you enjoyed our Mutually Inspired Series this week! Which outfit was your personal favorite?
And if you haven’t seen which looks Erin chose, get thee to Loop Looks right away! I hope Erin and I will do this series again… and perhaps add some more interested bloggers? If you’re possibly interested, let us know!
