12 for ’12

This week’s IFB project theme is to highlight one’s greatest hits, so what a perfect time to go back through my stats and archives to pull out my top 12 for 2012. Looking back on the past year (my first!) of style blogging, here are my most popular posts, as well as additional personal favorites. Enjoy!

The Top 6:  Counting down the most popular posts

Additional Personal Faves

“Sunny day, chasing the clouds away”

Librarian for Life + Style | Sunny winter day

Why? On this sunny winter day, layering colored tights, a pencil skirt, cardigan, and a colorful scarf felt like a breakthrough in my personal style discovery. It’s a combo I’ve returned to several times since!

Jump (for my love)

Why? This was one of the first photo shoots that I felt my husband, Sam, really got into using the sports setting to capture some action shots. Also, layering a sweater over a dress felt like another style leap for me — and is a trick I have used many times since!

The international

Why? I just keep smiling when I see shots from this day. From the bright colors to the hair to the large hoop earrings to the rose, everything feels happy.

Bookish chic

Why? This is my personal favorite Polyvore post. You can see all of my Polyvore posts by clicking here.

Inspiration Monday: Polka dot pretty

Librarian for Life + Style | Polka dot pretty

Why? This was an inspiration look from a style challenge. I felt pretty and feminine, nice and simple. 🙂

Outtakes and awkwardness

Why? This post took a deep breath to publish, but I ended up loving showing a bit more of my personal, goofy side.
