Librarian for Life + Style | Closeup of statement necklace from the UAE

When? November 6, 2012

What for? For work. And here’s to you, Erin @ Loop Looks, my first turtleneck of the season! And in your honor, your chic look from last week served as my sartorial inspiration. 🙂 I switched up the black to grey, and I ended up quite liking the color combination of grey and tan. No leopard belt, but I did add a bit of animal print with the scarf tied at the waist. And why boot-cut jeans instead of skinny jeans? Because they’re in the dirty clothes bin! Yep, laundry needs to get done.

The silver necklace is my mom’s from the UAE, from a native Bedouin tribe. This statement necklace is definitely a statement, right?  ♥ LOVE ♥ I like that it’s a big necklace, but with the grey turtleneck, it’s still kind of a subtle effect overall.
