When? April 29, 2012
What for? For a lovely Sunday and afternoon shopping trip at Old Navy (with another gift card, more details tomorrow). Today wraps up my (accidental) participation in the “One Piece, Three Days” style challenge that I learned about on the Loop Looks blog, see below. Check out my Day 1 and Day 2 outfits with my fuchsia tank top.
This time, I tucked in the tank top. 🙂 I thought about wearing a skirt, just because I’ve worn the tank top with two pairs of pants already, but these capris are just. so. comfortable. Actually, you can spot a lot of remixing with this outfit. These grey capris are the fraternal twins to the brown pair I wore on Monday, I last wore these arty earrings on Friday, I first tried out the pink belt the Friday before that… and of course, my love for these cute flats and denim jacket is evident from several prior posts. Like I said, remixing clothes is a way of life. Real life. That’s how I get inspired from looking at other style blogs, because everyone wears things in a different way.
Oh, and hair details… gotta admit, I felt pretty cute today with my hair in a half-up, half-down ‘do. I first curled strands with a big-barrel curling iron, so there was a slight wave all over (hair tutorial here). Then I pulled half of it back in a loose ponytail, securing the sides with a few bobby pins. The pins also helped lift up the hair, to give the top part more volume. My hair needs all the help it can get. 🙂
